“Ha, so you must be ‘Diego Armando’?”
(Funny, I wonder if Dulcia smelled like this…)
“…and you are, Kitten? It’s traditional for a cute girl to introduce herself as well as call out the man she speaks to, don’t you think?”
“Ha!”
-She gives a smirk over her own cup of coffee at him-
“Don’t try and pull that fast one on me, Tiger…. The name’s Ceado.”
“I’m more like a lion than a tiger though, wouldn’t you say Kitten?” He smirked at her and cocked his head to the side a bit. “Are you a female version of Godot then? Like a watered down cup of coffee in the morning you’re a bit different aren’t you?”
“The pot calling the kettle black I see. I’m more like the lioness then any Kitten in that case.”
-She gives a smirk of her own, taking a sip from her coffee-
“Like the snake that mimics the coral snake, can you really be sure at just a quick glance? How do you know this ‘Godot’ isn’t just a male version of me?”
“Same difference, isn’t it lioness? You are both ‘Godot’ to me.” He shrugged at her, feeling uneasy in her presence.

Mia let go of the papers upon feeling his hand. “Oh…I suppose you’re right.” the kiss to her throat made her gasp. Mia hadn’t expected it at all. The hug calmed her enough to return the kiss to his neck. “Please, make yourself at home..” He acted just like her mentor, old habits almost caused her to push away, but she didn’t. Though one thought played in her head. /what if his Mia wanted him back..?/ she shook her head before pulling away to sit on the couch, her hand tapped the cushion next to her. She still loved her mentor. Even if he seemed to have been hurt by another Mia. She was tempted to call him, her Diego. Now that they started dating it seemed. He chuckled and walked over, covering her hand with his own. “Calm down Mia. It’s fine. The papers make it look lived in.”
Slowly he leaned in and gently kissed her throat, pulling her up and into a hug. She smelled faintly of ink and spice, her perfume so light despite the warmth in the scent. She was being so receptive to him, and for a fleeting moment he wondered if she would push him away like his own Mia had but he ignored that nagging thought.
After all, she had already displayed her own hurt over the loss of her Diego. Perhaps they were meant to find each other specifically for this reason?
An almost purr like noise rumbled in his throat the touch of her lips upon it. Her words soothed his nerves, and he gave her a genuine smile as she sashayed her way to the couch. She was graceful even when tired, and it was something he had always appreciated.
Well, along with a few other things, of course. He was a man after all, and her physical appearance had always been a major attraction to him.
A soft sigh escaped him and he walked over, taking the seat she indicated with a grateful look before reaching out to her, drawing the woman into his lap. His Mia would have never allowed this, even when they were lovers, but he hoped to try to get away with it with this one.
A quick nod was all the response she got before the man disappeared into his own car and started the engine, backing out and waiting to follow Mia. As soon as she pulled out he followed, keeping her within sight and parking beside her at her home.
A smile was on his face as he got out, closing the door and leaning on his car as he waited for her to get out of her car.
Once her kendo stick and bag was in her hand, she slipped out of her car, locking the door. She smiled at Diego, motioning him to follow her. Her apartment building looked nice both on the inside and the outside. She pressed the button for the elevator.
“It’s nothing really all that impressive. I warn you. And Maya hasn’t been around much lately. She’s been training.”
He stepped close in the elevator, resting a hand on the small of her back in order to keep some form of physical contact. As nice as the apartment was, he hardly noticed it, honestly.
“It’s nice. Cozy.”
Mia felt the hand on her back, causing her to look up at him. Even when she was in heels, she was still shorter than him. She unlocked the door, showing the hardly furnished apartment. They way she had it, reminded her of how she had lived in Kurain. She slipped off her shoes at the door, the small kitchen table had papers strewn about, papers were even in chaos on her coffee table. A few pictures of Maya and herself were on the walls. Two old photo albums hid under the dark coffee table. The place was decorated very simply.
“Thank you. I’m sorry about the mess. Would you like coffee or something?”
Mia hurried to gather the strewn papers up, wishing she would have cleaned up her apartment yesterday.
“Thanks.
He chuckled and walked over, covering her hand with his own. “Calm down Mia. It’s fine. The papers make it look lived in.”

….don’t even joke about that.
